How To Factory Reset An iPad

At the home screen, tap on the Settings app.

On the left side of the screen tap on General. Scroll down on the right side of the screen and select "Reset".

Tap on "Erase All Content and Settings".

Tap on "Erase Now".

The iPad will prompt for a passcode. Enter 1950.

Tap on "Erase Now".
