OpenVPN Troubleshooting

If you are having issues connecting to VPN try these suggestions to get it going again:

IMPORTANT: If you recently got a new phone and this is your first time connecting since then please contact IT as your MFA will need to be reset.

1) Ensure you are connected to the internet.

2) Ensure that you have the correct username (either your email address or the part of your email address before the @) and password. Check Caps Lock.

3) If everything seems to be working but you never get the notification on your phone try opening the Authenticator app on your phone. Sometimes this forces the approval notification to appear.

4) Close and reopen OpenVPN. Right click on the OpenVPN icon and select Exit. Click the Start button and type OpenVPN to reopen the program.
